Our trip is getting closer and closer! We leave in only 3 short days! We have such a fun trip planned and I can't wait to be a part of it! Here are a few reminders!
1. Pray- Please be praying for the kids and adults that are going on this trip. Many kids this is their first time to go on a mission trip. Please pray not only for the safety of our group, but also that God will use all 68 of us to do some amazing things for the people of Waco. Not only pray for us, but also all of the people that we come into contact with. Pray that even when we are out in the community that we set an amazing example of what being a Christian means. Please take the time to stop and pray with your child before they go on this trip. Also if you get a chance take a second to read Romans 10:14-15- 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
2. Blog- Feel free to check out our blog daily with updates and pictures from our trip!
3. Letters- If you are still interested in writing some letters for your child please bring them up to the office by Wednesday. We got a TON at our meeting on Wednesday, but I want to make sure that every child has a least one letter from home in the backpack that we are giving them! This is such a big deal for them to be going on this trip so I would love for every kid to know that their friends and family are praying for them and thinking of them while they are away!
4. Reminder- Please drop off your child by 3:00 PM on Thursday! We will be leaving around 3:30 so you are welcome to stay and see us off. Pick up time is 3:00 PM on Sunday. This is depending on when church is over, but we should be home very close to 3:00. You are welcome to contact me to get an estimated time of arrival on Sunday.
